Gulf Breeze -

The middle school girls team has a tournament in Gulf Breeze, FL on April 24-25. There will be a 4 pm game Saturday and 9 am & 11 am games for Sunday. Lodging and transportation TBA.

Dan Anderson Tournament-March 26-28

Dan Anderson Lacrosse Classic, Birmingham, AL. March 26-28
- 2 weeks AWAY is the tournament all of us have been looking forward to!!! We still have alot of administrative and logistical aspects we must take care of.
- #1 Priority: We need to KNOW EXACTLY how many girls are going. Let Coach Newton know ASAP.
- IMPORTANT: Every girl going to the DALC MUST have a parent or guardian go to the HS by this Friday, March 19th to sign an Administrator's Release Form, which will allow each girl to get checked out early Friday March 26th. Mr. Baggett has aggreed to give our team an Admin Release since the sport is not a school sanctioned sport. This is a VERY SPECIAL favor Mr. Baggett is doing for the team and we MUST have EVERY GIRL signed out.
- Complete each waiver/medical release form and turn in this Friday March 19th at the Car Wash

MARCH ACTIVITIES!

1. Car Wash: This Friday, March 19th, we are holding a carwash at Advanced Auto on Hwy 90, east of Washington Ave, next to Mellow Mushroom Pizza. Advanced Auto supplies everything needed and we supply the work force. The girls wash for donations. This was a very positive fundraiser and alot of fun for the girls. We will need volunteers to shuttle the girls from the Middle School to Advanced Auto. High School girls will begin at 3:30, Middle School girls will begin when they arrive. We'll work all during rush hours, ending at 7pm. APPROPRIATE DRESS AND SWIMSUITS ONLY.

2. Middle School Team Get Together: This Saturday, March 20th, we are having a U-15 get together at the Learning Depot on Government St to continue building the community within our team and make 'rally bags' for the HS girls that will head to Birmingham the following weekend.

3. Daphne I-10 Jamboree: This Sunday, March 21st, the girls will play 2 games at the Daphne Jamboree; the 1st is at noon and the 2nd is at 2 pm. I suggest that the girls get there around 10ish to get set up, get relaxed, get the girlie stuff out of the way, so that at 11, the girls can start their pregame warm up. I'm working on directions as I write this. Daphne is located about 45 minutes east of Ocean Springs on the other side of the Mobile Bay. We need to know which girls are going, which girls need rides and which parents are willing to transport players.

4. O.S. Girls Lacrosse T-SHIRT FUNDRAISER: Girls will receive packets this Thursday to take around and pre-sell shirt. We are also requesting that you help contact businesses that would be interested in sponsorship to be recognized on -shirt, Contact Coach Jim, ASAP.
